Cynthia leads strategic investments at Amgen Ventures, with a focus on early-stage investing and strategic engagement. She joined Amgen Ventures in 2022 from Amgen’s corporate business development group and has led investments spanning drug development technologies, novel therapeutics, and digital health. Cynthia was previously an NIH Fellow and earned a PhD in Moelculer, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology from UCLA and a BSc in Human Nutrition and Metabolism from California Polytechnic University.
